Our smallest employees
As part of our commitment to organic farming, last week we released several crates of Ladybugs in our vineyards. This will help keep the year-round poputation thriving. Particularly at the larval stage they do a lot of work for us, and our latest rounds of vineyard forays showed quite a few of them hard at work, munching on the bad bugs. As we often say, "what we consider a pest, something else considers lunch." We find Ladybugs make terrific, hard-working employees - and no workman's comp nor health insurance required!
Rosé de Franc- brand new vintage!
We make our pink or rosé wine from Cabernet Franc grapes and call it Rosé de Franc. The wine is pink because red wine color comes from the skins. In this case we remove the skins after only about 12 hours, which leaves it a bright red rather than a full, deep red. We then allow the wine to fully ferment so that it is dry. It could be called "Cab Lite", but we prefer to call it delicious! Have a glass while you decide what wine to serve with dinner, and you may decide to serve Rosé de Franc.
Four bottles for the price of three - that's just $13.50 each.
TWELVE bottles of 2006 Rose de Franc - Saves $54

SIX bottles of 2006 Rose de Franc - Saves $26
