March. And we're still pruning!
This was the scene out the back window of the tasting room the other day. We try to wait until relatively late to prune our Sauvignon Blanc in our Randle Hill vineyard. This slows their growth cycle giving a little added protection against possible late frosts in May (the latest one year was June 15th). Unlike our Rennie Vineyard, we have no frost protection in our 13 acre Randle Hill vineyard. Fingers crossed again this year...

Only 2 months left in our 12 month celebration of 10 vintages

Edward, still standing after 5 courses at Elements Food & Spirit

One of the most pleasurable things we have the good fortune to do is co-host special Yorkville Cellars dinners. This was a special Groundhog Day Organic Wine & Food Pairing ("If the bottles sees its shadow, do we get 6 more weeks of winter?", was the question of the evening.) held at Elements Food And Spirit in St. Johnsbury, Vermont last month.
As
always we sincerely want to thank you for your continued interest
in our wines and fantastic support!
