Harvest update: Several tons of grapes lost to wild boar (and our dog)

In addition to the wild boar, Shadow unfortunately loves to eat grapes (however,
he is easier to take a picture of caught in the act than the pigs).
We reckon that our local wild boar consumed several tons of Semillon this year before we could complete harvest this Tuesday (Nov. 1st). Semillon seems to be their favorite. If that wasn't aggravating enough, we've found that our dog loves to chew on grapes continuously. And he'll happily eat any and all varietals- red or white. Many of you will have been greeted at our tasting room entrance over the last 3 years by our black lab, Shadow. Perhaps he should be re-named... Suggestions?
We've agreed to disagree...
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, we've been having our usual debate about the best wines to have with turkey and the various trimings. We finally agreed that of thel seven grape varietals we grow, Cabernet Franc is the best suited. Its lovely aromatics and light body compliment and don't overpower white meats. However, we couldn't agree on which of our wines made with Cabernet Franc would be the best match, as we also have a dry rosé made from Cabernet Franc grapes that we call Rosé de Franc.
So, we'll leave it up to you to choose either our regular Cabernet Franc or our "Cab Franc Lite," Rosé de Franc. With our Monthly Special you can receive 12 bottles for the price of 10 bottles. Or 6 bottles for the price of 5.
