Yorkville Cellars has two main vineyards on the estate, which are farmed organically.
Our vineyard behind the tasting room is called Randle Hill Vineyard and is planted to Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. A total of 13 acres, it mainly dates back to 1981 but was expanded in 1989. Our vineyard along Highway 128 in front of the tasting room is almost 17 acres and is called Rennie Vineyard and was planted in 1990. It includes all six of the primary red grapes originating in Bordeaux, France: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Carmenere, and Petit Verdot. So in total we are currently farming 30 acres (12 hectares)
